Accompanied by our official guide, we’ll embark on our safari-style trucks towards the breathtaking mountain ISABEL DE TORRES. Along the way, we’ll journey through charming countryside communities before reaching the summit. At 800 meters above sea level, nestled within an ecological park, we’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views, lush with vegetation. Our adventure kicks off with a leisurely exploration of the ecological park.

Descending towards Puerto Plata, we’ll pass through the scenic EL CUPEY community. En route, we’ll pause at the picturesque LA CATALINA for some unforgettable photo opportunities before arriving at our ranch for a delightful family lunch. Here, amidst the flavors of our meal, we’ll witness an artisanal demonstration of local cigar-making, with the chance to purchase these authentic treasures. And, of course, no Dominican experience would be complete without a bit of dancing—so we’ll sway to the rhythms of Bachata and Merengue.

Next, we’ll delve into the historical richness of Puerto Plata, beginning with a visit to La Puntilla del Malecón, home to the formidable San Felipe Fortress. We’ll delve into its storied past, capturing memories with photographs and strolling through its park, complete with an amphitheater.

Our journey continues with a visit to a factory showcasing the famed Dominican stones, Ambar and Larimar. Here, we’ll learn about their history and have the opportunity to purchase unique souvenirs.

To quench our thirst for knowledge and spirits alike, we’ll venture to the Vinícola del Norte, a renowned rum and liquor factory. There, we’ll delve into the heritage of these beloved libations and indulge in tasting some of the finest local liquors.

Concluding our tour, we’ll meander through the Historic Center of Puerto Plata, exploring the iconic “Calle de las Umbrellas” and the quaint “Callejón de doña Blanca,” before bidding farewell in the park.
