Escape to discover the authentic culture of the Dominican people.  You will be accompanied by an official guide who will transmit his extensive knowledge of our culture as you visit the countryside, the real heart of the Dominican Republic.

We visit the “Geo” cheese factory where we will learn the whole process of making cheese.  We stop in the community of “las Lajas” to visit a cocoa farm and a small coffee plantation.  Everyone can learn the process of the production of artisanal creole chocolate, taste cocoa, tropical fruits as well as trying delicious artisan chocolate.

Afterwards, we visit “Saballo” a very laborious hidden community with a factory over a hundred years old and see the process of making the typical sugar cane molasses bonbons.  In “La Piragua”, we visit the typical house of an artisan where we will see how to make guano baskets, mats and banana leaf tackle with materials that nature provides.
